The Intro to Shotgun course is designed for new or inexperienced shotgun owners who want to build a safe, confident understanding of how to handle and operate a shotgun. This class covers the essentials—from safe handling and basic operation to live-fire exercises that focus on proper technique and control.
Students will learn the different types of shotguns, how they function, and how to safely load, unload, and fire them. With an emphasis on safety and simple fundamentals, this is the perfect starting point for anyone looking to use a shotgun for home defense, sport shooting, or general firearm education.
This is a low-pressure, hands-on course ideal for first-time shooters or anyone wanting to get more comfortable behind a shotgun.
Age Requirements
Minimum age for accompanied minors is 12-years old.
Class Goals

Understand the basic parts and functions of common shotgun types (pump, semi-auto, break action)

Learn and apply the four universal firearm safety rules
